Asked to describe your design style what would you say?
I think I have quite a clean, timeless style. I like to use colour and pattern, not over complicated, but not minimalist either.
Latest trend or styles you are enjoying?
1. Delicate chinoiserie patterns on fabrics and wallpaper. It's nothing new but comes
back around every so often and always has a place in the home.
2. Colour and texture blocking especially in a bathroom using tiles - large areas in one significant tile, but using depth and thickness to accentuate the different materials.
3. Colour in kitchen cabinetry that is not black or white.
Top tips when creating a design scheme:
Start with a piece of something you are in love with, be it wallpaper, fabric the kitchen bench top and draw inspiration from that. You will be surprised how a scheme naturally evolves from one key item.
